Araiys Design has had the great honor to volunteer our efforts in revitalizing the Garden of Hope at the Southampton Hospital. The existing garden, located at the corner of Herrick and Old Town Roads had become overgrown and uninviting. Along with hospital staff and other community volunteers, we have re-imagined a brighter space that provides walking paths, seating areas, new lighting fixtures, a water feature, and new plantings.

Working around these bodies of water, says landscape architect and longtime Long Island resident Timothy Rumph, requires familiarity with a number of different agencies as well as a clear understanding of myriad rules governing what is (and isn’t) possible.
